The featured artist for the 2024 Camden Native Plant Celebration and Sale is local Maine artist Cassie Sano.
Sano is a plein air painter based in Augusta, Maine. She has been featured at the renowned McLaughlin Garden & Homestead in South Paris, Maine, is founder of the Kennebec Valley Plein Air Painters, a member of the Kennebec Valley Art Association, the River Arts Association, the Maine Art Gallery, and exhibits at the Red Barn Gallery in Port Clyde. Sano’s work showcases our state’s natural flora and its breathtaking wild and gardened landscape. Sano will be present showcasing works that feature native plants, as well as painting plein air on site during the event.
